![]() ![]() Powerpoint For Mac Keeps CrashingYesterday I ran a full system scan using my Avast antivirus software and it found a infection file. The file's location is: /private/var/db/uuidtext/7B/BC8EE8D09234D99DD8B85A99E46C64 Avast categorizes the infection file as: JS:Cryptonight [Trj] So, after deleting the file I did several more full system scans to check to see if there were any more files. I found nothing, until I restarted my macbook pro today. Log In AvastSometimes Avast Antivirus may be blocking you from running a program or accessing a web page, which you know is totally safe.Usually, it’s because of the low application occurrence within the Avast community. Therefore, Avast can’t properly tell if the program is safe or not, and will try to protect you. It keeps your MAC safe by letting you scan the whole system, and also scans for mounted volumes and removable volumes. Various shield options, like: file system shield, web shield, and mail shield are provided that lets you keep your browsing safe and secure and prevent online attacks. But you are on a Mac and this filename is just a hash that is connected to the “Unified Logging” database system’s file structure and it is completely coincidental that it matches that malware filename and should not mean anything. I can quit the application and scanner under the menu bar, but I hat it popping up all the time. Avast antivirus removal tool.
